Welcome Back!

Monday, August 30 is the first day back for students in grades 1-6. We are all very excited to have them back for what will be an excellent year of learning and fun. We will be sending home a parent / student handbook along with September's calendar on Monday - please review these as they contain important information about the procedures here at the school.

ECS students begin Monday, September 13 and are full days Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

For parents dropping off and/or picking up students: please remember to park either in the parking lot, the loading zone on the north side of the school, or the street. Please DO NOT park in the bus loop or the other side of the island at any time. Students should arrive no earlier than 8:35 AM and be picked up no later than 3:40 PM.

Masks are required for ALL students riding the bus regardless of age. Masks are not required while at the school but students who wish to wear one are more than welcome to do so. PRSD's re-entry plan can be found here

Our first school assembly will be Friday, September 3 at 2:55 PM.

September 6 is Labour Day - no school for students and staff.

Wednesday, September 8 is our Meet the Teacher Night - School Council / NSES AGM. It will be here at the school from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. We'd love to meet as many parents as possible. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Parent Volunteers: if you volunteered with us last year (or would like to start this year) and would like to do so again (and we would love to have you), please come to the office so we can get your volunteer form. You will also need an RCMP criminal record check and a CFS check. This needs to be done annually as per policy.
